Update: Well I guess I had to add a pic of the pumpkin in daylight... so you could see that it is a real pumpkin!

The weather finally cooled enough to hike Sandia Creek. We set out with the goal of exploring a trail that we call the stairs. We made a fairly steep accent to the top of a peak.


As it turns out, the trail is pretty short, so we finished up there and headed over to the Santa Margarita trail.
