Ended up going for a 5.5 mile hike around the Santa Rosa Plateau today... beatuiful day, mid 60' warm in the sun... Connor and Mitch had a great time. The recent rain made the air fresh and clean and the soil damp and dustless. We didn't see too many people on the trail. I was hoping there might be some water in the vernal pools, but it was just mud. I can't wait to come back in early spring to see the pools full!

As most of you know, Connor had been growing his hair long. Well, the time finally came to cut it, and he decided to donate his hair to Locks of Love. Word got out at his school and they decided to do a story about it.
